Keep going

Writing is a solitary business. And if you’re like most writers, one day you feel invincible and the next you feel a two-ton devil named Doubt sitting on your shoulder.

I wrote 12,000 words this weekend. I was flying. FLYING. Today I woke up and Doubt was right there, telling me my project sucks, the idea is stupid, and I’m a hack.

Then an old friend wrote an encouraging note on my Facebook wall. He said, “Keep putting your pen to paper. God has something to say through you.”

Perfect timing.

I’ve got to get back to work now, but had to post this to tell other writers out there. Keep putting your pen to paper. God has something to say through you.
